chief joke :))

A chief officer was walking the decks of his ship when he saw one of his sailors sitting on the deck, idly throwing a knife at a target. The officer walked over and asked the sailor what he was doing

“I’m just trying to kill some time, sir,” the sailor replied.

“Well, you’re doing it wrong,” the officer said. “You’re not even close to the target.”

The sailor looked at the officer in confusion and said, “But sir, I’m using your knife.”
